TROUBLESHOOTING
Why is my concrete repair not getting hard?
Cementitious and resin repairs depend on the correct material ratio, temperature and curing method.
Start with the label: Identify the exact product and do not assume another formula’s remedy applies.
What to check
- Confirm the specified water or component ratio.
- Check whether the substrate or air was outside the application range.
- Review required moist-curing, protection or finishing steps.
- Keep traffic and loads off the repair until the applicable milestone is satisfied.
Before attempting a repair
Record the application time, approximate temperature, humidity, layer thickness and surface. Compare those facts with the current manufacturer instructions. If the material affects structural strength, electrical safety, pressure containment, food contact or immersion, contact the manufacturer before placing it into service.
