PROJECT TIMELINE
Garage-floor coating: walk-on and drive-on timeline
Plan the job around separate working, recoat, exposure and service milestones. The exact clock comes from the product you actually use.
Project sequence
- Complete cleaning, profiling and moisture checks.
- Apply primer and coating inside their working and recoat windows.
- Keep foot traffic off until the stated milestone.
- Keep vehicles off until the product specifically permits vehicle traffic.
- Account for tire heat and full cure before demanding use.
Do not add the times blindly: Some milestones run from initial application while others begin after a later coat or step.
